I have enjoyed all of her books as this is my favorite period for novels. It reintroduces Fenella, who saved Adam Thornleigh & his brother in law. Adams horrid , treacherous wife kidnaps his two children and runs to Spain. D'Alba, a Spanish military man vows to kill Adam. Adam tries to rescue his children & failed twice. He is then able to get his daughter but has to leave his son behind as his wife true to kill him again. Could not put this book down!

Very good series read.
Great characters, lots of action and drama. Kept my attention from beginning to end. Highly recommend.
